Ernie Hann, from Striders of Croydon, had an excellent run to win the Selsdon Half-Marathon on Saturday, covering the undulating course in 83 minutes 21 seconds. Rachel Lindley, from Striders of Croydon, had a very good run in the Cambridge Half-Marathon on Sunday. She recorded a personal best of 89 minutes 04 seconds, lifting her to fifth place in Striders’ all-time women’s rankings. She finished 178th in a field of over 3300 runners, and was the 13th woman to finish. On
Iain Harrison, from Striders of Croydon, made the long journey to Japan to run in the Tokyo Marathon last week. He finished 448th in a large field, recording a very creditable time of 2 hours 53 minutes 13 seconds. He was the fifth British runner to finish.
