Striders of Croydon had some good performances in the Wimbledon five-kilometre road race on Sunday, which incorporated the Surrey Championship and was the final race in this year’s Surrey Road League. They were led by Philip Coales who ran well to place 21st of the 211 finishers, covering the undulating course in 17 minutes 27

James Bennett, from Striders of Croydon, ran very well to win the Olympic Park 10 kilometre road race in Stratford on Saturday.
