Striders of Croydon faced strong opposition in the Surrey Masters Cross-Country Championships at Richmond Park on Saturday. Alastair Falconer, from Striders of Croydon, ran very well to place first out of 109 runners in the annual Switchback cross-country race in Addington Hills, completing the undulating five-mile course in 29 minutes 26 seconds.
