Striders of Croydon produced some good performances in the Sri Chinmoy five-kilometre road race at Battersea on Tuesday. They were led by Jay Lidbetter who ran very well to place 20th of the 399 finishers in a new club M40 record of 16 minutes 03. Striders of Croydon had a good turnout of 43 finishers in the Roundshaw parkrun on Saturday morning, which included a ‘mob match’ against local rivals Sutton Striders and Collingwood.
