    Striders of Croydon produced some good performances in the Surrey Masters Cross-Country Championships, at Nonsuch Park on Saturday.     Phil Coales, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place second out of 339 finishers in the Brockwell parkrun on Saturday. He completed the five-kilometre course in 17 minutes 22.     Striders of Croydon faced strong opposition in their first Surrey Cross-Country League races of the season, at Reigate on Saturday.     Striders of Croydon staged their 30th annual Switchback five-mile race in Lloyd Park and Addington Hills on Sunday. There was a record total of 165 finishers.
