Iain leads Striders at muddy Wimbledon
Striders of Croydon faced strong opposition in the South of the Thames Cross-Country Championship at Wimbledon Common on Saturday. Their best performance came from Iain Harrison who ran well to place 44th out of 260 finishers, covering the 12-kilometre course in 48 minutes 37 seconds. Taylor Huggins was 105th overall, and 12th in the over-40 category, in 53 minutes 14. Barry White was 139th (55.50), Chris Morton 168th (58.25) and Simon Pannell 169th (58.35).
