Serena flies the flag for Striders at Andover
Serena Stracey, from Striders of Croydon, ran very well to be the second woman to finish the Andover parkrun on Saturday. She placed 38th overall in a field of 266 runners, and covered the five-kilometre course in 22 minutes 31 seconds. Meanwhile Graeme Drysdale was third in the Riddlesdown parkrun (18.44), while Lee Flanagan was fourth in the Lloyd parkrun (18.29) with Simon Ambrosi fifth (19.12). Becky Laurence was the fourth woman to finish the Reigate parkrun, placing 61st overall (23.38). Striders had a total of 56 finishers in the various weekly parkruns (24 at Lloyd Park and 32 at other venues).
