Andrew Aitken, from Striders of Croydon, had an excellent run in the Veterans AC 10000 metre championships at Battersea Park on Wednesday. Striders of Croydon produced some good performances in their final Southern Veterans League match of the season, at Wimbledon on Monday. Striders of Croydon had 12 finishers in the Elmore 7-mile road race at Chipstead on Saturday, which was the fifth race in this year’s Surrey Road League.
