Lee is leading Strider at Lloyd Park
Lee Flanagan, from Striders of Croydon, ran well to place fourth of 141 finishers at the weekly parkrun in Lloyd Park on Saturday, recording 19 minutes 38 seconds. Club colleague Ernie Hann was fifth (19.55) and Sam O’Dongo was sixth (20.31). Nigel Finch was 12th in the Riddlesdown parkrun (20.48). Striders had a total of 38 finishers in the various local parkruns.
Striders faced strong opposition in the penultimate Rosenheim League match of the season, at Battersea on Wednesday. Their women slipped to fifth in the league table, one point ahead of Herne Hill, while their men remain sixth.
